In bookings made through Airbnb the guest doesn’t pay the 100 euro of deposit when he makes the reservation.
Instead, the guest will be charged if I make a claim on his security deposit. I can request some or all of the security deposit within 14 days of when the guest checks out or before a new guest checks in, whichever happens first.
If I make a claim on your security deposit, here’s the process that will be followed:
Airbnb will ask for documentation from me, and as soon as they receive it, they’ll ask me to contact the guest through Airbnb’s Resolution Center to discuss the claim. If i will send a request, the guest will be notified by email and through an alert on his Dashboard.
The guest have to reply to the request in the Resolution Center within 72 hours.
- Agree to the amount: Click Accept in the Resolution Center. Airbnb will process the payment and send it to me.
- Don’t agree to the amount: Click Involve Airbnb in the Resolution Center and let them know why you think my claim is invalid. Airbnb will contact you and give you 72 hours to respond to them so they can mediate.
In direct bookings through this site or Booking.com a damage deposit of EUR 100 is required on arrival. This will be collected as a cash payment.
You should be reimbursed on check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full in cash, subject to an inspection of the property.
